About

The John Anson Ford Amphitheatre, officially nicknamed 'The Ford,' is a 1,200-seat outdoor performing arts venue nestled in the Cahuenga Pass within the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles. Built in 1920 and owned by the County of Los Angeles, the venue is operated by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and presents an eclectic summer season (June–October) of music, dance, theater, film, and family events that reflect the diversity of Los Angeles County's communities. One of the oldest performing arts venues in continuous use in Los Angeles, The Ford is operated in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation and the Ford Theatre Foundation, and also features a 87-seat indoor theatre space for its off-season programming.
