About

The Bedford Falls Company is an independent film and television production company founded in 1985 by writer-director-producers Marshall Herskovitz and Edward Zwick, named after the fictional town in Frank Capra's 'It's a Wonderful Life.' The company is known for award-winning character-driven dramas across both film and television, including the Emmy Award-winning series thirtysomething and Once and Again, and the Academy Award-winning films Shakespeare in Love and Traffic. With decades of acclaimed productions including Legends of the Fall, Blood Diamond, The Last Samurai, and My So-Called Life, Bedford Falls is widely regarded as one of Hollywood's most enduring independent production partnerships, with Herskovitz and Zwick described as the longest-running creative partnership in Hollywood.
