Studio 8 is a filmmaker-driven American film and television production company founded in 2014 by former Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group President Jeff Robinov, co-founders John Graham and Mark Miner, and backed by China's Fosun Group and Sony Pictures Entertainment with approximately $1 billion in financing. Headquartered on the Sony lot in Culver City, California, the company develops, finances, and produces prestige and tentpole feature films across diverse genres — including action thrillers, horror, and family comedies — with distribution partnerships at major studios including Sony Pictures and Focus Features. Notable productions include Ang Lee's Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (2016), Alpha (2018), White Boy Rick (2018), Hypnotic (2023), The Instigators (2024), and Robert Eggers' Nosferatu (2024), the latter becoming one of the top-grossing horror films of 2024.
