Studio 203

Studio 203 is an artist-run gallery and production company LLC located in the Palms neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA, founded in February 2020 by Aneesa Shami Zizzo and Grant Zizzo. Operating as a white-walled gallery in the front and a working production studio in the back, it offers exhibitions, workshops, performances, and film production with a focus on underrepresented artists including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ creatives working in fiber art, craft-based work, and social practice. Co-owner Grant Zizzo is also an MFA-trained film director whose short films have screened at festivals and aired on PBS. The studio is currently on hiatus as it prepares a second iteration of the project.
