(SMS) is a Santa Monica-based film and television production company co-founded in 2013 by financier/filmmaker Jim Kohlberg (Chairman) and producer/publisher Jeffrey Sharp (President & CEO). The company is committed to acquiring, developing, financing, and producing multiplatform premium content with a focus on high-quality literary source material. SMS is best known for producing the long-running Starz series Outlander and its prequel Outlander: Blood of My Blood, as well as feature films including The Yellow Birds and Every Breath You Take.
