Sola Media GmbH is an international film sales company founded in Stuttgart, Germany in 2004, specializing in high-quality children's and family entertainment with a strong focus on animated features for theatrical release worldwide. The company deliberately maintains a curated slate of four to six new films per year, allowing it to develop tailored marketing strategies and give individual attention to each title. It was honored as Distributor of the Year at Cartoon Movie in Bordeaux in 2019, and in 2020 Koch Films (part of Koch Media Group) acquired all shares in the company, with founder Solveig Langeland remaining as Managing Director.
