Soho Rep

Soho Rep (Soho Repertory Theatre) is a critically acclaimed off-Broadway theater company founded in 1975 and based in New York City, known for producing avant-garde, world premiere plays by early-career and radical theatermakers. Described as a 'cultural pillar,' the company has earned numerous Obie Awards, Drama Desk Awards, Drama Critics' Circle Awards, and a Pulitzer Prize (for Jackie Sibblies Drury's Fairview). Since 2024, following its departure from its longtime 46 Walker Street home (Walkerspace), Soho Rep has been sharing space with Playwrights Horizons' Sharp Theater while exploring its long-term future as a civic institution.
