Skydance Television

Skydance Television was the scripted television production division of Skydance Media, launched on May 1, 2013, with a mandate to become a leading supplier of premium scripted content to global streamers and networks including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV+. The division was responsible for acclaimed series including Grace and Frankie (Netflix's longest-running U.S. scripted original), Foundation, Reacher, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, Cross, FUBAR, and The Big Door Prize. On August 7, 2025, following Skydance Media's merger with Paramount Global to form Paramount Skydance, Skydance Television was merged with Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios and Nickelodeon Live Action to form the revived Paramount Television Studios, with former Skydance TV President Matt Thunell leading the new combined studio.
