Sierra/Affinity

Sierra/Affinity is a Beverly Hills-based leading independent film finance, production, and foreign sales company created in January 2011 from the merger of Sierra Pictures and Affinity International. The company represents international sales of third-party films and acts as exclusive sales agent for films developed and produced by its partner studios, with a track record of acclaimed titles including Drive, Whiplash, Nightcrawler, Manchester by the Sea, Hell or High Water, and Atomic Blonde. In July 2018, Entertainment One (eOne) acquired the remaining stake in the company, making it a wholly-owned eOne subsidiary; eOne was subsequently acquired by Hasbro in 2019 and its film/TV assets sold to Lionsgate in late 2023. Note: As of early 2025, founder Nick Meyer relaunched Sierra Pictures as an independent advisory and production entity after departing eOne/Hasbro, and Sierra/Affinity's current operational status under Lionsgate is unconfirmed.
