Shinbone Productions is the Pacific Palisades-based producing banner of husband-and-wife writer-producer team Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, among Hollywood's most commercially successful screenwriter-producers. The company is best known for originating the modern Planet of the Apes reboot franchise beginning with Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), and their films collectively have grossed over $6 billion at the global box office. Jaffa and Silver have also co-written and/or produced major tentpole films including Jurassic World (2015), Avatar: The Way of Water (2022), and Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025), and are currently producing a new untitled Planet of the Apes film set for release in 2027.
