Rogue Lab New Work Incubator

Rogue Lab New Work Incubator is the new play development program of Rogue Artists Ensemble, a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit theater collective founded in 2004. Created in 2018, Rogue Lab is a 9-month residency program in which playwrights create brand-new plays from the ground up while collaborating with a designer, composer, or choreographer, all in service of Rogue Artists Ensemble's distinctive 'Hyper-theater' aesthetic — blending immersive experiences, interactive design, puppet plays, and genre-bending live performance. The incubator has supported multiple seasons of new works by Los Angeles artists and receives funding from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, the City of West Hollywood, the City of Culver City, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and the Culver City Arts Foundation.
