Pure Flix Entertainment

Pure Flix Entertainment was an American independent evangelical Christian film production and distribution studio founded in 2005 in Scottsdale, Arizona, best known for producing the blockbuster God's Not Dead franchise and numerous other faith-based films collectively grossing over $195 million at the worldwide box office. In November 2020, Sony Pictures Entertainment acquired the Pure Flix streaming service and brand via its Affirm Films subsidiary, at which point the production studio rebranded as Pinnacle Peak Pictures. The streaming service was subsequently merged with Great American Media in a joint venture announced in May 2023 and rebranded as Great American Pure Flix in September 2023, now operating as a faith-and-family SVOD platform under CEO Bill Abbott.
