Platinum Dunes

Platinum Dunes is an American film and television production company founded in November 2001 by Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Andrew Form, headquartered in Santa Monica, California. Originally celebrated for high-grossing horror remakes — including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), Friday the 13th (2009), and A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) — the company pivoted to original genre franchises, launching The Purge and A Quiet Place series. In June 2022, Bay and Fuller revived the banner under a first-look deal with Universal Pictures, and are actively developing OutRun (directed by Bay, co-produced with SEGA and Sydney Sweeney), Lure, Sponsor (for Apple Original Films), Saturation Point, and A Quiet Place Part III (2027), while continuing to co-produce with partners including Blumhouse Productions and Sunday Night Productions.
