Picador Productions

Picador Productions is the personal production company of Christopher Lloyd (the TV writer-producer, not to be confused with the actor), co-creator and executive producer of ABC's award-winning sitcom Modern Family. The company served as one of the primary production entities behind Modern Family from Season 4 (2012) through its finale in Season 11 (2020), in association with Steven Levitan Productions and 20th Century Fox Television. Named after a bullfighting metaphor referencing the relationship between TV viewers and network advertising, Picador Productions also has credits on earlier Lloyd projects including Bram & Alice and Out of Practice. Per Dun & Bradstreet, the company is incorporated in California and has been active since 2009.
