Parkes + MacDonald Image Nation is a Santa Monica-based feature film and television production company founded by veteran producers Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, the husband-and-wife team who previously co-headed DreamWorks Studios and produced three consecutive Best Picture Oscar winners. Their films — including the Men in Black series, Gladiator, Minority Report, Flight, Free Solo, and My Lady Jane — have grossed over $6 billion worldwide. The company operates as a joint venture with Image Nation Abu Dhabi (a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media), formed in 2012, which provides overhead, financing access, and first-look rights on projects developed and produced by P+M.
