Offspring Entertainment

Offspring Entertainment is an American film and television production company co-founded in 2004 by siblings Jennifer Gibgot and Adam Shankman, based in Los Angeles, California. The company is best known for producing the Step Up dance film franchise (which grossed over $500 million worldwide), the musical Hairspray (2007), Rock of Ages (2012), and the After young adult romance film series (2019–2023). Offspring has maintained first-look deals with Walt Disney Studios, New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Television/Warner Horizon, and Global Road Entertainment over its history, and has expanded into television production with Step Up: High Water on Starz.
