Nice Try. is a film & TV production company founded by producer/writer Alex Plapinger to help singular artists make original entertainment across comedy, animation, and independent film. The company specializes in collaborating with emerging artists working at the intersection of animation, comedy, and indie film. Plapinger has operated the banner through a first-look deal at FX, and has produced projects with partners including Amazon, Adult Swim, A24, Apple, and Cartoon Network.
