Monster Troupe

The Monster Troupe is a community-based processional arts and street theatre group that has performed at Portsmouth, New Hampshire's annual Halloween Parade since 2010. Renowned for its captivating costumed street theatre, handcrafted giant puppets, and ensemble dancers, the group typically fields around 40–45 members including performers and a production crew. Founded and led by Holly Chandler Cook (the 'Monster Mistress'), the troupe is a volunteer-driven creative collective that builds elaborate, large-scale props and creatures each year themed around a new concept.
