Minderoo Pictures is a social impact film enterprise launched in 2021 by the Minderoo Foundation — Asia-Pacific's largest philanthropic organisation, founded by Australian billionaire Dr Andrew Forrest AO and Nicola Forrest AO. Based in Nedlands (Perth), Western Australia, the company invests in documentaries, scripted features, series, and children's content thematically aligned with the Foundation's focus areas: climate action, gender equality, natural ecosystems, early childhood development, and modern slavery. With an initial commitment of A$10 million (since grown to A$20 million+), Minderoo Pictures has supported over 40 screen projects globally, taking equity positions across development, production, and release, and producing cross-platform impact campaigns alongside the films themselves.
