MIMO Studios (pronounced 'mee-mo,' short for 'mini movie') is a New York-based, female-owned and operated media company founded in February 2020 by Cyma Zarghami, the former president of Nickelodeon and Viacom Media Networks' Kids & Family Group. The studio specializes in kids and family content spanning live-action, animation, and preschool, with a focus on producing TV-length original movies that encourage co-viewing and inspire positive values through diverse characters and storytelling. MIMO works with existing and original IP, partnering with publishers, animation studios, and brand partners including Macmillan Publishers, Like a Photon Creative, and Crayola Studios. The company also operates a MIMO Sports division focused on sports-themed content for kids and families.
