Metropolitan Films (trading as Metropolitan Pictures) is one of Ireland's leading and longest-established film and television production companies, co-founded by the late James Flynn and based at Ardmore Studios in Bray, County Wicklow. With over three decades of experience, the company develops and produces its own projects while providing a comprehensive suite of co-production and production services to international film and television partners filming in Ireland. Its credits span award-winning Irish drama series (Love/Hate, Kin, Harry Wild) through to major international features and series including The Banshees of Inisherin, The Last Duel, Disenchanted, Vikings, and Wednesday Season 2 for MGM/Netflix. Since the passing of founder James Flynn in February 2023, the company is led by Co-CEOs Catherine Tiernan and David McLoughlin.
