Mare Nostrum Prods

Mare Nostrum Productions was a French production company (Société par actions simplifiée) founded in June 2014 as a joint venture between Spain's Morena Films and Alexandra Lebret, former managing director of the European Producers Club. Dedicated to producing and co-producing film projects for French, European, and international audiences, the company specialized in European arthouse and international co-productions. It produced or co-produced six films between 2014 and 2016, including Ma Ma (starring Penélope Cruz), Altamira, Mr. No Problem, Insiders, and The Propaganda Game. The company was dissolved on November 29, 2023, with liquidation completed in 2024.
