Maneki Films

Maneki Films is a French independent film production company founded in September 2009 by Didar Domehri, former head of international sales at Films Distribution. The company has produced and co-produced over 25 feature films, the majority of which have been selected and awarded at major international festivals including Cannes, Venice, Toronto, and San Sebastian. Maneki Films specialises in both French-language and international co-productions — partnering with territories including Brazil, Spain, Cuba, Argentina, Belgium, Luxembourg, Turkey, Palestine, Lebanon, and Georgia — and operates a joint label, FULL HOUSE, in partnership with Borsalino Productions. In 2017, the company received the IFCIC award for Young Independent Company of the Year.
