Mackey/Sandrich Casting

Mackey/Sandrich Casting is a highly regarded independent bicoastal casting company founded in approximately 1990 by Amanda Mackey (1951–2022) and Cathy Sandrich Gelfond. The firm was a pioneer as the first independent bicoastal casting operation in the industry, with offices in New York and Los Angeles, and has cast over 150 feature films and television shows. Following Amanda Mackey's passing in August 2022, Cathy Sandrich Gelfond continues to operate the company and recently won a 2025 Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting in a Drama Series for The Pitt. The company is affiliated with the Casting Society of America (CSA) and casts across film, television, and theater.
