LightWorkers Media is an American independent Christian media and film/television production company founded in 2009 by actress-producer Roma Downey and award-winning producer Mark Burnett, now owned by Amazon MGM Studios through MGM Television. The company is best known for producing the Emmy-nominated History Channel miniseries The Bible, which drew over 95 million cumulative viewers, as well as subsequent faith-based productions including A.D. The Bible Continues, Son of God, Ben-Hur, Woodlawn, and the Amazon Prime Video drama series The Baxters (2024). In 2017 it launched LightWorkers.com as a digital destination for short-form uplifting, inspirational, and faith-and-family content, operating as a division of MGM Television and Digital.
