Kontribute

Kontribute is a Vietnamese film production house established in 2019, initially focused on producing short films for emerging directors. By 2022, it evolved into a comprehensive production powerhouse integrating development, production, and post-production services, implementing a standardized global workflow to facilitate international co-productions. The studio is best known for producing 'Devil's Diner,' the first Vietnamese Netflix Original, and in 2026 achieved a historic milestone with 'The Dream Is a Snail' (Giấc mơ là ốc sên), the first Vietnamese short film ever selected for the Official Short Film Competition at the Cannes Film Festival. The company's name is a portmanteau of 'Satoshi Kon Tribute' and 'Contribution to Vietnamese Cinema.'
