July Moon Productions is a Los Angeles-based production company founded by singer, actress, and entrepreneur Selena Gomez and run in partnership with her mother, Mandy Teefey. The company was originally launched in October 2008 in partnership with XYZ Films to develop film and television projects. It is best known for producing the Netflix drama series 13 Reasons Why (2017–2020) and the HBO Max cooking series Selena + Chef (2020–2023), as well as serving as a producing entity on the Hulu hit Only Murders in the Building. July Moon Productions focuses on socially conscious storytelling, mental health themes, and content that amplifies Latinx and underrepresented voices.
