Julie Schubert Casting is a New York-based independent casting company founded and run by Emmy Award-winning casting director Julie Schubert, CSA. Known for her work on prestige film and television projects, Schubert has cast Netflix hits including The Diplomat, House of Cards (for which she won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Casting alongside Laray Mayfield), Under the Bridge, Mindhunter, and the full Marvel Netflix slate (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, The Punisher). With over 90 titles to her name, Schubert trained under legendary casting directors Juliet Taylor and Ellen Lewis and is widely regarded as one of the leading casting directors working in New York.
