About
Joint Effort is an American feature film production company founded in 2014 by director Todd Phillips and actor/filmmaker Bradley Cooper, formed when the two merged their respective Warner Bros.-based shingles. Operating under a first-look deal at Warner Bros., the company produced some of Hollywood's most commercially successful films of the era, including the billion-dollar-grossing Joker (2019) and the Oscar-nominated A Star Is Born (2018). Bradley Cooper departed the partnership around 2019–2021 to form his own company, Lea Pictures, with Todd Phillips continuing to operate Joint Effort and producing Joker: Folie à Deux (2024).
