About
Hurwitz & Schlossberg Productions was the production banner of writing/directing/producing duo Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, best known for the Harold & Kumar comedy franchise and American Reunion. The company was the original vehicle for launching Cobra Kai, the acclaimed Karate Kid sequel series. In 2019, it merged with Josh Heald's Heald Productions to form Counterbalance Entertainment, which subsequently signed an overall deal with Sony Pictures Television.
