House of Ross

House Productions is a London-based independent film and television production company founded in 2016 by former Film4 head Tessa Ross and former Working Title Television chief Juliette Howell, operating a broadly 50/50 film and TV slate. Fully acquired by BBC Studios in 2021, the company is known for acclaimed, author-driven projects including the Oscar-winning Conclave (2024), BAFTA-winning Sherwood, The Iron Claw, and The Zone of Interest. Since January 2026, Tessa Ross serves as sole CEO following Juliette Howell's departure to lead Lookout Point. The company runs 'House Residence,' a mentorship programme for emerging writers transitioning from theatre to screen.
