Hey Eddie

Hey Eddie Productions is the film and television production company founded in 2007 by comedian-actor Kevin James and his producing partner and manager Jeff Sussman, based on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, CA. The company is named after a man named Eddie whom James and Sussman befriended at a diner in Little Neck, Queens in the mid-1990s. Hey Eddie has produced many of James's biggest theatrical successes—including the Paul Blart: Mall Cop franchise, Zookeeper, Here Comes the Boom, and Home Team—as well as his CBS sitcoms Kevin Can Wait and The Crew. The company has operated under ongoing first-look deals with Sony Pictures Television and Columbia Pictures.
