Heretic Films

Heretic is an Athens-based boutique film house founded in 2013 by Giorgos Karnavas and Konstantinos Kontovrakis, specializing in international co-productions, world sales, and festival strategy for arthouse and independent films. The company pioneered the first world sales department dedicated to films from Southeastern Europe, operating under the sales banner Heretic Outreach (launched 2014), and has grown to handle major international titles. Recognized with the 2018 Eurimages Co-Production Award, Heretic is one of Europe's most respected independent production and sales outfits, with credits including the Palme d'Or winner Triangle of Sadness and Berlin Golden Bear winner Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn.
