Heretic Films

Heretic is an Athens-based boutique film house founded in 2013 by Giorgos Karnavas and Konstantinos Kontovrakis, specializing in international co-productions, world sales, and festival strategy for arthouse and independent films. The company pioneered the first world sales department dedicated to films from Southeastern Europe and has grown to handle major international titles, including co-producing Ruben Östlund's Palme d'Or winner Triangle of Sadness and handling world sales for the Berlin Golden Bear winner Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn. Recognized with the 2018 Eurimages Co-Production Award, Heretic is one of Europe's most respected independent production and sales outfits, bridging the gap between European arthouse cinema and the English-speaking world.
