Hardy Son & Baker is a British independent film and television production company founded in 2012 by actor Tom Hardy (Edward Thomas Hardy) and producer Dean Baker, incorporated as Hardy Son and Baker Limited on 20 April 2012 in London. The company focuses on developing character-driven, sophisticated scripted dramas for cinema and television, with an emphasis on original and unconventional storytelling. It is best known for producing the BBC/FX period drama series Taboo (2017), A Christmas Carol (2019), Great Expectations (2023), and the Paramount+ crime thriller MobLand (2025), and has forged partnerships with NBCUniversal, Scott Free, Heyday Films, Studiocanal, and 101 Studios.
