About
The Halcyon Company was an American privately financed media development and film production company founded in 2006 by Victor Kubicek and Derek Anderson in Los Angeles, California. The company is best known for acquiring the global rights to the Terminator franchise in 2007 and producing Terminator Salvation (2009), distributed by Warner Bros. in North America. After filing for bankruptcy in 2009, the company's production operations ceased; the Terminator IP was sold to hedge fund Pacificor in 2010, and The Halcyon Company was officially dissolved in 2013.
