Greenpoint Films

Greenpoint Films Limited is a long-standing British independent film and television production company founded in 1981 by producer Simon Relph (CBE) and co-founder Ann Scott. The company is best known for producing critically acclaimed art-house and literary British features including The Ploughman's Lunch (1983), Wetherby (1985), Enchanted April (1991), Hideous Kinky (1998), and more recently the Canada/UK conspiracy drama series Departure (2019–2022). In 1997, Greenpoint joined with Skreba, Scala, and Parallax to form The Film Consortium, a major National Lottery-backed production franchise. The company remains active as a private limited company registered with Companies House (No. 01570255), operating under producer Patrick Cassavetti following Simon Relph's death in 2016.
