GoodShort

GoodShort is a mobile-first vertical short drama streaming platform and production company launched in June 2023, operating out of Los Angeles. Part of the Singapore New Reading Technology ecosystem (which also includes the #1-ranked GoodNovel app and GoodFM audiobook platform), GoodShort adapts novels into serialized micro-drama series — each 1–3 minutes long, shot in portrait orientation — spanning romance, fantasy, thriller, and supernatural genres. The company oversees over 100 productions annually across its LA, Beijing, and New York teams, and is one of three vertical platforms consulting with SAG-AFTRA to develop a workable union agreement for vertical content.
