Generator Entertainment is a Belfast and London-based independent film production company established in 2007/2008 by producers Mark Huffam and Simon Bosanquet, later joined by Aidan Elliott. The company specialises in producing a combination of international big-budget productions and local Northern Irish fare, with early work focused on genre films including horror and comedy. It has been a significant force in promoting Northern Ireland as a world-class filmmaking destination, leveraging Northern Ireland Screen funding, skilled local crews, and UK tax credits, with notable productions including Cherrybomb, Ghost Machine, Red Mist, Whole Lotta Sole, and Keith Lemon: The Film.
