Flourishing Films (legally Flourishing Inc.) is a Los Angeles-based boutique film and TV production, distribution, and sales agency founded in January 2016. The company specializes in expanding access to Black, diverse, and female-driven filmed content originating from the US, Africa, the UK, and beyond. Founded by Efuru Flowers — a former Paramount Pictures feature acquisitions executive — the company made its debut at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and the 2016 Berlin International Film Festival/EFM, and has since licensed content to platforms including Hulu/Disney, BET, Kanopy, Crackle, Gravitas, and Criterion.
