FISAplusFollow

FISAplus (Film Industry Support Austria Plus) is Austria's national film and television production incentive program, administered by Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH (aws) under the authority of the Federal Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism (BMAW). It provides a non-repayable cash rebate of up to 30%, plus an additional 5% 'Green Bonus' for productions meeting environmental sustainability criteria, for international service productions (cinema, TV, and streaming) as well as Austrian domestic TV and streaming productions. FILM in AUSTRIA, the national film commission operating under the Austrian Business Agency (ABA), serves as the primary advisory and monitoring contact for international producers seeking FISAplus funding. The program was launched on January 2, 2023, and has since supported over 210 approved productions—including major titles such as HBO's The Regime, Apple TV+'s Fountain of Youth, and Hulu's Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2—disbursing over €202.9 million in funding and generating approximately €664 million in Austrian spending.
