Firecrest Films is a Glasgow-based, award-winning independent television production company specialising in ambitious premium documentaries, investigative current affairs, and factual programming for major UK broadcasters and streamers including BBC, Channel 4, and Amazon Prime Video. Founded in 2008 and based in the historic Fairfield building in Govan, the company has won 16 BAFTA awards and been recognised as one of the Best Places to Work in TV by Broadcast magazine for seven consecutive years. In September 2025, Channel 4 acquired a majority stake in Firecrest through its Creative Investment Fund, making it the first production company Channel 4 has ever taken a majority stake in.
