Fanfare Productions

FanFare Productions is a television production company originally founded by Jamie Tarses, a trailblazing TV producer and executive who served as president of ABC Entertainment from 1996 to 1999 — the first woman to hold that post at an American broadcast network. Following Tarses' death in February 2021 at age 56, longtime company executive McCrae Dunlap took over leadership of FanFare, with Aaron Kaplan's Kapital Entertainment providing logistical support including offices, overhead, and development funding. The company is known for writer-focused, character-driven scripted television and has produced series including Hawthorne, Happy Endings, Franklin & Bash, The Wilds, and The Mysterious Benedict Society.
