Endemol Shine Group

Endemol Shine Group B.V. was a Dutch joint-venture production and distribution company formed on January 1, 2015, through the merger of Endemol, Shine Group, and Core Media Group, jointly owned by 21st Century Fox (later Disney) and Apollo Global Management. At its peak it operated 120+ production labels across 22+ territories producing 700–800 productions per year for over 270 platforms and channels worldwide, and was recognized as the production and distribution company with the most travelled formats globally. The group was responsible for iconic global franchises including Big Brother, MasterChef, Deal or No Deal, Fear Factor, Peaky Blinders, and Black Mirror. On July 3, 2020, Banijay Group completed its $2.2 billion acquisition of Endemol Shine Group, folding it into what became the world's largest independent content producer and distributor; many former divisions continue to operate under the Endemol Shine name within Banijay.
