Electric Somewhere

Electric Somewhere Co. is the multi-media production company of acclaimed filmmaker Jon M. Chu (Wicked, Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights), incorporated in California in 2017 and known for producing purpose-driven, representation-forward spectacle across film and television. The company has maintained first-look deals with major studios including Warner Bros. Pictures (film) and 20th Television, and as of January 2026 is based on the Paramount lot under a new three-year first-look film and television deal with Paramount Pictures and Paramount Television Studios. Notable productions include the Apple TV+ series Home Before Dark and in-development projects such as a live-action Hot Wheels film for Warner Bros. and a film adaptation of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for Amazon MGM Studios.
