Founded in 1993 and headquartered in San Diego, California, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, L.P. is the privately held global children's entertainment and licensing company that owns and manages the intellectual property of Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss). The company was established by Audrey Geisel, Dr. Seuss's widow, to protect and promote the beloved literary and artistic works across publishing, film, television, stage productions, exhibitions, digital media, licensed merchandise, and other strategic partnerships. All profits benefit charitable organizations focused on education, health, animal conservation, and the arts via the Dr. Seuss Foundation, which has gifted over $300 million to charitable causes. DSE is currently building out a major animated film slate with Warner Animation Group and a slate of preschool content with Netflix.
