Donners' Company

The Donners' Company (formerly Donner/Shuler-Donner Productions) is a Beverly Hills-based film and television production company founded in 1986 by director Richard Donner and producer Lauren Shuler Donner, whose films have grossed approximately $5 billion worldwide. The company is best known for producing the landmark X-Men franchise and the Free Willy series, as well as such titles as Lethal Weapon, Dave, Maverick, Constantine, Logan, and Deadpool. Following Richard Donner's death in July 2021, Lauren Shuler Donner continues to lead the company; she most recently served as executive producer on the 2024 Marvel Studios blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine, and is currently developing several Broadway musicals based on the Donners' films. The company also launched The Donners' Company Screenwriting Award at the Austin Film Festival in 2025, aimed at supporting emerging feature screenwriters.
