Dark Age Cinema is an American independent horror film production company founded in 2015 by filmmaker Damien Leone, best known as the production banner behind the massively successful Terrifier franchise, which includes the 'Art the Clown' slasher series. Operating out of Manalapan, New Jersey, the company has grown from micro-budget cult horror (Terrifier, 2016; budget ~$35K–$55K) to mainstream genre powerhouse with Terrifier 3 (2024) grossing over $90 million worldwide on a $3 million budget. Dark Age Cinema is regarded as one of the most remarkable success stories in modern American independent horror filmmaking.
