Critical Content is a leading global independent unscripted and scripted content studio, founded in 2015 from the assets of Relativity Television and acquired by SK Global in January 2022. The company develops, finances, produces, and distributes programming for broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms, with signature titles including Netflix's Ginny & Georgia and Sly, MTV's Catfish, and Food Network's The Great Food Truck Race. Now based in Beverly Hills and closely aligned with parent company SK Global, Critical Content is led by co-heads Rob Lobl (creative/development) and Tony Yates (production), operating as a leaner studio focused on large IP-driven formats and international co-production partnerships.
