Creative Wealth Media Finance Corp. (CWMFC) was a Toronto-based private film and television lending company that provided gap financing solutions to producers and distributors of motion pictures, television, and animated productions. As a senior lender, it secured loans against global distribution rights and raised over $500 million from investors across Canada and the U.S. between 2013 and 2022, executive producing over 90 feature films in partnership with Bron Studios, including Oscar-nominated titles such as Joker, Judas and the Black Messiah, and Bombshell. The company filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal in October 2023 and was subsequently deemed bankrupt in November 2023; the Ontario Securities Commission later announced fraud allegations against the company and its founder, Jason Cloth.
