About
Crab Apple Films is a Glasgow-based independent British production company founded by producer Angus Lamont, incorporated in Scotland in 2003. The company is best known for producing critically acclaimed feature films including the BAFTA-nominated thriller '71 (2014), the Agnieszka Holland-directed historical drama Mr. Jones (2019), and the documentary Last Breath (2019). Lamont has also produced The Girl with All the Gifts (2016), Limbo (2020), and The Iron Claw (2023), establishing Crab Apple Films as a respected independent with a strong track record of award-winning British and international co-productions.
